Influenster sent me the Venus Embrace Sensitive VoxBox. First let me say THANK YOU!!!!!! To Gillette and Influenster for sending me this amazing product for testing purposes. 

I am the typical woman looking for that holy grail, go to never let me down razor. I mean what woman doesn't want her legs to be; Smooth, Silky, Moisturized, Shiny etc? I DO! This razor is perfect! I have super sensitive skin. When it came to shaving I dreaded it because the razors I was using were cheap, harsh on my skin and always left my legs dry, irritated and on FIRE! I would have ugly, horrible little red bumps every time I finished shaving my legs. I no longer have to worry about that issue anymore with this razor. 

My legs feel like butter, the day I got this razor - could not have been delivered on a better day. It was date night with my boyfriend, and we were celebrating his job promotion. I do my normal bathroom routine and when it came down to shower time, I couldn't be more excited to bust open my new razor. Now in the voxbox came The Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive razor kit, two razor heads, the body of the razor with a SoftGrip handle (it's reusable) and a razor shower hooker (sticks to the shower wall) I take one of the razor heads - which has 5 curve hugging blades and its wrapped with a moisture ribbon bar with a touch of aloe. I attached the razor head to the softgrip handle, applied my shaving cream and it just glided on my legs like butter! Seriously I felt like I wasn't shaving my legs, because of how smooth this razor is. I notice instantly how shiny my legs were about to be, because the shine was instant. I finish shaving, set out of the shower, pat my legs dry and was amazed! My legs were smooth, silky, moisturized and shiny. I put on my dress and went out. 

After our night out, we got ready for bed and my boyfriend could not stop touching my legs! He kept saying they're so soft and smooth! So honestly ladies, if you have sensitive legs like I do, you should honestly try this razor out. You will not be disappointed! I honestly swear by it and won't go or use any other razor then this one!

Spring is here! That means it's time to review the Influenster Spring Fling Voxbox! I honestly was super excited when I got the email that I was going to receive this voxbox. Honestly Influenster has been surprising people with these themed voxboxes and the amazing testers they select for people to receive.

I personally love this voxbox, I always have problems finding a great lip care product, I am always looking for better hydrating firming lotion, I am not a fan of white french nails (I always do black) but my mother sure enjoyed the nails <3, & I love Rimmel London. Plus we got a box of Tampons (whose going to turn that down?) & to top it off who doesn't love that smell of freshly baked pie? *Raises both hands & shakes them* I sure as heck do! So let's get into the review, if you're still with me :) 

Rimmel London Scandaleyes - Retro Glam Mascara - 
First let me ask a question - are you always looking for the perfect mascara? Going to every drugstore looking for the latest mascara (because the commercial on TV made it look fabulous)? You think you found the perfect mascara but it's too heavy, clumpy & still missing that one thing you are looking for? Look no further, Rimmel Londons Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara - might be the one you've been looking for. Now I have always purchased my eyeliners and mascaras from Rimmel. There were hits and misses but I always continued to buy. I have faith in this company. I always said that someone is going to make the perfect mascara for my eyes! Thanks to @influenter & @RimmelLondonUS I now have that mascara. I am always looking for a mascara, that wasn't heavy on my lashes, that didn't pull them out when taking my makeup off at night or causing me to have an allergic reaction to the formula. I am not one to put on think coats of mascara in the first place (news flash ladies, that's why your lashes are falling out and look clumpy, STOP doing that) The brush is perfect, it grabs every lash and applies an even coat to each lash. Makes your lashes longer and fuller. A little goes a long way and if you are one that loves a simple liner and mascara look THIS IS YOUR GO TO! A++++++++++++

Kiss Everlasting French Nails:
If you are getting ready for a night out with the girls, going on a romantic date, concert..etc You got your hair done, found the perfect outfit and shoes to match, makeup is flawless but you forgot to do your nails!!! No worries Kiss has it covered. Kiss Everlasting French Nails are perfect for that emergency, you run into any local drugstore, head over to beauty and there they are. You have so many choices to chose from, but French is always the easiest and goes with any outfit. I for one don't do white french, I have a colorful personality, punk rock and edgy, I always do black french. My mother had the above emergency and had no time to get her nails professionally done. I remembered that Influenster & Kiss sent the everlasting French set to me in my voxbox, sized her nails to a perfect fit, glue (which is provided) and applied. She was ready in just a few minutes. My mom went out and had a great night, the next morning her nails were all still intact. They didn't move! Throughout the rest of the day, they glue started to wear thin and they popped off but that's okay get a better and stronger glue and reapply!

Peach Pie Car Freshner from the Labor Day Movie - SPOILER ALERT - SKIP THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE!
Kate Winslet (Divergent & Titanic) & Josh Brolin (The Goonies, W, Gangster Squad, Grindhouse) star in Labor Day: Depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded & fearsome man a ride (Frank). As the police are searching town for Frank who is an escaped convict, Adele & Henry gradually learn his true story. This is no panic room movie or a lifetime crazed man take hostage of two people, No this movie is completely different. Adele & Henry get to know Frank, they find the family they've been longing for. It really is a beautiful story, it takes it's time with the characters, pulling you in and falling in love with their story. Now the reason behind the Peach Pie, Adele always has a bowl of peaches in the kitchen, Frank takes a bite of one and says how good & ripe. & that they'll never get through all of them. Adele says "It's a shame, we always have to throw them out before they rot." Frank had a better idea, he, Adele and Henry start cutting the peaches, making a crust from scratch, and are making a homemade peach pie. Henry seems a little uneasy when Henry steps behind Adele to help her with the dough of the crusts, but relaxes as he watches them. When it comes to placing the top crust of the pie, Adele's hands start to shake, Henry has a flash back of all the times her hands started to shake and she no longer had control. The one line I loved in this whole scene was when Frank noticed her hands shaking, in her ear he told her, "Help me put a roof on this house" Adele calms down and quickly and forcefully puts the top on the pie.

I am a sports girl. I played soccer & softball. I even get out and play football. One thing I don't do is play when I am on my cycle. The tampons I used before just didn't feel right when playing. I loved these tampons, I attended a friends beach party and the guys were throwing the football around, I decided to get out there and throw a few passes and catch a few as well. I honestly did not feel any discomfort, honestly felt like nothing was there! I was able to move, jump, kick and have fun and not worry about leaks and odors.

Get your skin ready for warm weather with NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion, in as little as 2 weeks, you'll see firme, more toned skin. So I have trouble with dry patches on my face, nothing seems to work! Either I am allergic to it, it's burning my face, Irritates my heat pumps,  ugh nothing seems to work! This however seems to be doing the trick. It's light weight, not greasy, absorbs into the skin quickly and has a lovely light scent. I have super sensitive skin and this is very easy on it.

I love lipbalms, you ask any girl what's in their purse, 9 times out of 10 every one of them has lipbalm. I am a lipbalm hoarder. You will see a ton in my vanity, purse (I just looked I have 6 - 3 of which are Softlips) car, in my gym bag, evening bag, my nephews diaper bag. It's everywhere! I have a problem with dry lips. I live in Florida & with the heat we're always using SPF based lipbalms. I hate it because they leave a weird chemical taste. Hello everyone! I am here to write a review of this amazing product that Influenster sent me. I have to tell you guys that this product is amazing. I have already been using their detergent for years and I have always loved their products. Now I am loving them all over again. From floor cleans, all purposes cleaners to detergent. It's inexpensive, I have already turned my family onto their products and the stores are always in stock (well in my neighborhood)





I can't begin to tell you how fresh, clean and great my laundry smells after using this product. The best part is that the smell does not go away, it stays on the clothes. Q-Tips Precision Tips are a well known brand. Influenster sent me the Precision Tips and I have to say that they work wonders. I love painting my nails and I am always looking for something to help clean up my makeup look when I have messed up somewhere. The tips are not like your normal Q-Tips these are made with pointed tips (at both ends) they are perfect for applying concealer under the eye, getting rid of nail polish along the edges, eyeliner and much more. I have used the tips for applying bridal makeup, when I say that the bride started to cry, I grabbed one of the tips and held it to the tear duct and it instantly absorbed the tears and left her makeup looking flawless.

Below is how I used the tips for applying nail polish. I wanted something fun and bright and decided dots and stripes would be perfect. I dipped the tips into the colors I wanted and it was so quick and so easy using these tips.

Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot

Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot! Are a life savor for ladies who love: Heels, Flats, Boots, Wedges and the list goes on. These cushions are for ANY shoe! I have a rave about them because I am NOT NOT NOT a heels, wedges person. I am always and mainly in Converse or Toms. Every now and then I will wear my Dr. Martens but something came over me and I purchased wedges. Here's the thing, I ordered 6 1/4 inch wedges, I am 5'10 on the nose, in my wedges I am 6'4. I am tall and curvy. So me wearing these shoes for a girls night out, they were going to tear into my feet. I started breaking in my wedges but Saturday came quick and I had to wear them with my dress. I remembered that Influenster sent me the Dr. Scholl's Ball of Foot cushions, I placed them inside of my wedges and instantly the pressure was off of the ball of my foot in these new shoes. I kept them on all night. I honestly forgot I was wearing wedges, due to how comfy my feet were. The plus side, when I got home 6 hours later, NO BLISTERS! NO RUBBING! My feet were just fine! The next morning, same thing, nothing. I am amazed and will be putting these in the bridal baskets for my God sisters' wedding.

The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC

The Taste season begins with blind auditions of both professional and amateur cooks during which four judges, who double as mentors, taste one spoonful of food from each contestant prior to knowing who cooked it or what all the ingredients are. Each judge decides whether or not they would like the contestant on his or her team by pressing a button (green for yes or red for no); the buttons are hidden from the other judges (although some decisions are revealed to the home audience). The four then meet the contestant and press a button to reveal their votes. If exactly one judge votes yes, that contestant automatically joins that judge's four-member team. If more than one judge votes yes, the contestant chooses among them.

Once the 16 contestants are chosen, each episode consists of team and individual challenges with various themes. Each episode ends with the mentors tasting all the competitors' dishes without knowing what it is, how it was prepared, who created it, or whom they will be eliminating. The contestant with the worst bite of food is eliminated from the competition.

I have watched every episode so far and this show is amazing! I love the fact that there is a challenge before the main challenge. This show main have a few traits from another show "Chopped" on the food network, but I have to say that this show is so much better. The contestants are in a team of 4 with one of the judges as mentors in their kitchen. It gives a more personal feel to each kitchen. You have a one on one with your mentor. The other thing that I love about this show is that the judging is fair. For the blind tasting challenge: each kitchen every contestant prepares a dish, once each dish is complete the teammates of that kitchen tastes all of the dishes and choose a spoon to send out for the main judging - to represent that kitchen and their selves. Each week there is something that has to be paired with the dishes that are prepared. The main challenge: free game! Everyone prepares their own dishes to send out for the mentors to blind taste. They have no idea who cooked what, they go through each and every dish and pick the best and the worst of the week. 

Face it this show is THE VOICE of cooking! I love love love this show & you may too!

Fantastic read!

Fantastic books. One of the best books I’ve read in a while.

Hiding In Sunshine is a fantastic read. I couldn’t put it down. It is very well written.

I loved the strong character development, and how the authors kept you on the edge of your seat. As I was reading this, it felt like a movie was being played in my head. You can picture everything based on the details/clues that the book gives you. When your reading, you find yourself pausing and really thinking about what’s going to happen to the characters next and trying to piece things together, but the authors trick you and twist the story in another direction, throwing our minds for a loop. It’s exciting! It’s very realistic. I also loved how extended the vocabulary is in this book, I had to stop and pull out my dictionary to look up a few of the words. I LOVE THAT! I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a thriller with a twist kind of book. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Side note - you really do find yourself thinking about the characters outside of reading this amazing book. I felt like I was one of those crime scene investigators on Law n Order or NCIS trying to piece everything together. :)

These are the Harper Oxford flats. I love them. Sole Society has them in two different prints. I loved the animal print ones as well. (I plan on ordering those as well) These shoes are right up my alley for my style. I love leggings, tunics, over sized shirts, shorts...things of that nature. I love to be comfortable. Goody Quikstyle Brush paddle styler review

I will reviewing the Goody Quikstyle paddle brush. I received this product from Influenster for testing purposes. I was not paid for this review. I received this product as part of the Holiday Voxbox 2012.

Goody! A well known brand for hair products. I have been using hair ties, brushes and pins since I was a little girl and it's great that they are still living up to their name. It's a brand that I trust and will continue to use. I have a stock of pins and hair ties (yes I love them that much.) I was super happy when I saw that this paddle brush was going to be apart of the Holiday Voxbox. The brush has microfiber bristles, at first it can look a little funny and you would think to pull the blue cushion out, but don't! I dried my hair in less than 5 minutes, while using this brush. My hair holds a lot of water and to get a brush that would absorb most of that and cut my drying time in half was perfect for me. It did not pull my hair either. I love this brush. I will have to try the rounded brush next.

EBoost - The natural energy booster - review

I was suppose to receive this in my Holiday Voxbox but there was no EBoost in there for me. Luckly I had to go to the store to pick up a few items and they had some EBoost in stock. The pharmacy had these in singles packets, so I purchased one of each flavor they had available. I loved all the flavors except Acai Pomegranate. It was gritty and not a good taste to me. My favorite was Orange and Pink Lemonade. They seriously taste like Orange fizzy drink and a fizzy pink lemonade. I could drink them all day. I felt very alert when I had to wake up for my morning walk with my dogs and had plenty of natural energy to get some last minute shopping done. I will continue to repurchase these in the future! These are so yummy!

NYC Liquid Lipshine review - Nude York City

NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine - is a lipgloss that is packed with Vitamin E to provide a great shine and a moisturizing feel. The formula is non-sticky, super shiney and soft. These Liquid Lipshines are available in 10 trendy colors from nudes to berries & fuscsias. A very affordable gloss found at any shopping store or drug store. The price is $2.49 for this gloss.

The color I received in my VoxBox was Nude York City - I tried on the color right away, I will admit I did like the color on me, but the way this gloss just shines and how moisturizing it was made me go out and purchase Prospect Pink and City's Clear. These glosses are the perfect size for on the go and no touch ups were needed. I went out with a group of friends and they kept stealing my gloss! There is a perfect shade for everyone. I honestly hope that NYC comes out with more shades ( I hope in the red family) I would love to see what they can do with a bright ruby red color. I love these glosses and can't wait to see more. Remember though that a little goes a long way with these. Do not apply to much or else the formula can get a bit tacky. That is my only con about this product. The rest is up for you to decide! Great product for a great price!

Quaker Oats Medleys Oatmeal+ - Peach Almond Oatmeal review

I will reviewing Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal+. I received this product for testing purposes from Influenster as part of their Holiday Voxbox 2012. I was not paid to do this review.

Who doesn't love or grew up on Quaker Oatmeal. The different flavors and I love the fact that every packet of oatmeal can be mixed with another to get an explosion of flavor. The Real Medleys flavor I received is Peach Almond. I loved this oatmeal. The peaches were sweet and the almonds gave the oatmeal that great extra texture. It was super easy to cook, add hot water to the container, stir and let it cook. I read on the package that there are 4 different grains/ multi-grains. The flavor is different from the Peaches' n Cream oatmeal. This oatmeal had large chunks of sweet peaches. Clean up was easy, just tossing a spoon in the sink. :) This is a repurchase for me!

Kiss Nail Dress - Review

I will be reviewing the Kiss Nail Dress in Shrug. I received this product as part of the Holiday VoxBox 2012 from Influenster for testing purposes. I was not paid to do this review.

I have to say that at first trying to size all of the strips to the correct size of my fingers, it just was not working for me. They would either be to big or to small. So instead I got creative and cut the strips in half and put them on my tips. I loved the way this turned out. I got about two tips for every strip. I did strips on 8 of my fingers and put a whole strip on my pinkies. Applied top coat (even though it's built in - I didn't want the strips to lift) and tada! All done! This was super easy and fun. I have more than enough strips to save for later, if I decide I want to use this print again. I loved the design Shrug and can't wait to try out more. These strips are super fun and easy, if you are going out and forgot to do your nails or don't want to get your nails done (because the time or money) these are a great alternative.

The smell is a very suttle hint of peach. Smells really good though! If so then I will be sharing this with a family member and doing a review based on the results I am seeing from their hair.
